After nearly 30 years of reselling airline excess on consignment, we have developed a full service option to sell excess material at full value including all rotable and serialized assets that may require selective repair, overhaul or recertification prior to selling.
Baron undertakes all management and administrative work for those aircraft parts, through the correct selection of the repair facility, controlling the repair costs through enhancing the value of the asset to maximize resale value and hence ultimate return for the owner. We currently manage tens of millions of dollars of rotables, APU’s, avionics, etc under this program with efficiency and success benefiting all parties. This program is by far the most benefit to the operator with assets that may be valuable but unserviceable determining whether to repair or not, modify to the most saleable component (assuming the cost is not prohibitive and adds value).
